  • Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet - January

    Attendance: 300 to 350

    Audience: Chamber members that are business owners and/or management; community leaders and community members receiving awards

    Description: An opportunity to join other Chamber members in celebration of the accomplishments from the previous year.  Recognition is given to Board Members, volunteers, and recipients of the Business of the Year, the Above and Beyond, and Citizen of the Year awards.

    Sponsorships: Table Design (decorate a table promoting business), $500 Major Sponsorship (business name appears in program, on Power Point, on banner behind podium, read aloud to audience, engraved on all awards); $150 Award Sponsorship (business name appears in program, on Power Point, is read aloud to audience, is engraved on award). 

     

  • Home and Garden Show - April

    Attendance: Approximately 3000 people during two days

    Audience: General Public

    Description: Expo/trade-show event highlights businesses related to landscaping, remodeling, decorating, etc.  All businesses are welcome to participate and are not excluded if unrelated to the Home and Garden theme.  Special seminars and demonstrations are also presented during this yearly event.

    Sponsorships: Booth space is available; Chamber has pricing.

     

  • Ag Week Luncheon - March

    Attendance:  75 to 125

    Audience: Invitations are sent to local service clubs requesting that they attend the Ag Week Luncheon in lieu of their weekly club meeting; in addition, all Chamber Members and the general public are welcome.

    Description: Every March, the Ag & Energy Committee coordinates a special luncheon in honor of National Ag Week.  An agricultural or energy-related speaker is arranged and lunch is provided. The 2015 speaker was Tom Lilja, Executive Director for the ND Corn Growers and Corn Council; 2014 speaker was Michael Grosz, CFO for the Midwest AgEnergy Group; 2013 speakers were Lance Brower and Steve Frohlich from the Endless Harvest project; 2012 speaker was Governor Jack Dalyrmple; 2011 speaker, Jasper Schneider, USDA ND State Director; 2010 speaker, Sandra Broekema, Great River Energy; 2009 speaker was Matthew Stolz, Basin Electric; 2008 speaker was Mark Ruark of Cargill; 2007 speakers were Lyndon Anderson and Al Christianson of Great River Energy and the 2006 speaker was Mark Urquhardt, Cavendish farms.

    Sponsorships: $50 Event Sponsor (includes verbal and written acknowledgement on various promotional materials).  Individual ticket cost is $10 per person.

     

  • Legislative Forum – March, June, October

    Attendance: 50 to 75

    Audience: Chamber members, Community Leaders, Public

    Description: The Chamber Local/Regional Issues Committee is the host to legislative forums and events that encourage interaction with our elected officials.  The Candidate After Hours event is held when appropriate.  It brings local and state candidates together to meet one-on-one with Chamber Members.

    Sponsorships: $100 Event Sponsors (sponsor names are listed in program, on a banner displayed on stage; read aloud to audience; event is recorded by local TV stations and replayed to entire community).

     

  • White Cloud Days Parade - July

    Attendance: 1,500 to 2,000 people

    Audience: General Public

    Description: The parade is coordinated yearly by the Chamber in cooperation with the National Buffalo Museum and the Classic Car Club, in conjunction with the community celebration, “White Cloud Days”. 

    Sponsorships: None currently available.

     

  • Energy Week Luncheon – October

    Attendance: 75 to 125

    Audience: Invitations are sent to local service clubs requesting that they attend the Energy Week Luncheon in lieu of their weekly club meeting; in addition, all Chamber Members and the general public are welcome.

    Description: Every October, the Ag & Energy Committee coordinates a special luncheon in honor of National Energy Week.  An energy-related speaker is arranged and lunch is provided. The 2015 speaker will be John Stumpf, VP of Business Development from WBI Energy, Inc.; 2014 speaker was  Jeff Zueger from Dakota Sprit Ag and Al Christianson from Spiritwood Station.  This is a new event for the AgEnergy Committee.

    Sponsorships: $50 to $100 Event Sponsor (includes verbal and written acknowledgement on various promotional materials).  Individual ticket cost is $10 per person.

     

  • Farmer’s Appreciation Banquet - November

    Attendance: 600 people

    Audience: Stutsman County Area Farmers and Business Leaders

    Description: For 38 years, the Ag & Energy Committee of the Chamber has coordinated an appreciation banquet for area’s farmers.  The Banquet includes a sit-down dinner, along with a social hour and guest speaker. The entertainment in 2014 was The Jamestown Choralaires, in 2013  was Rik Roberts , “The Barney Fife Guy”; in 2012 was Jay Henderen, Farmer Humorist; in 2011 was Baxter Black, Cowboy Poet, 2010 featured The Jamestown Choralaires, Greg Hager, ND Country Western Singer/Song Writer, and Terry Fleck, “The Attitude Dr,” a motivational speaker.

    Sponsorships: Various Sponsor Levels available, from $250-$2500. Members have the option to decorate tables and promote their businesses. 

     

  • Membership Directory - January

    Audience:  1000 copies published

    Primarily Chamber Membership – Relocation Packets

    Description: Quick Reference Guide listing all member businesses as well as the Chamber Directory that is published annually.  The directory features a listing of all member businesses, community information pages and chamber information.

    Advertising: Advertising is available to Chamber Members.  Chamber has pricing schedule

     

  • Business Training Series – monthly

    Attendance: 15 to 30 participants

    Audience: Chamber Members and Non-Chamber Members

    Description: The Jamestown Chamber of Commerce is pleased to provide monthly business training for the community.  The idea is to give our local businesses the opportunity to offer their employees professional, personal and leadership skills in a cost-effective way.  The Chamber partners with the following companies to provide the training:

    • U. S. Bank – Jacqueline Williams
    • Local trainers for various topics
    • A.K. A Coach and Company ~ Annie Kirschenmann
    • Dale Carnegie Training ~ Tamara Anderson
    • TrainND Southeast Region
       

    Sponsorships:        Program cost varies.  Sponsorships are not available at this time.

     

  • Business After Hours Events – BI-monthly

    Attendance: 50 to 100 participants

    Audience: Chamber Members and Non-Chamber Members

    Description: The Chamber encourages members to host these networking events.  The Ambassador Committee assists in creating a social atmosphere in which members are able to make new business connections and build on current relationships.  This also gives members a chance to introduce their business to their fellow members.

    Sponsorships: Program cost is $125.  Sponsorships are not available at this time.
